The combined resources of six University of Texas System universities allow you access to online graduate courses designed to meet your academic, professional and lifestyle needs as a physical educator, a coach, or other professional interested in the science of people in motion. Students wanting to participate in the online Master's Degree in Kinesiology should apply for admission to one of the four UT System universities offering the master's degree, enroll and complete that institution's degree requirements.
Through a consortium of six UT System universities, there is sufficient coursework offered so that all courses can be completed online. Any of the online graduate courses offered will be accepted by each participating university for any of its Kinesiology online degree-seeking students. View a brochure about the program. The U.S. Distance Learning Association presented its 2002 Excellence in Distance Learning Programming - Higher Education Award to the Master's Degree in Kinesiology online program.

COURSES
Link to a listing of the courses required for the program. To find out when the courses will be offered, link to the course catalog, select the program and click search. Catalog search results will return the schedules for at least two semesters, but not all programs are scheduled that far in advance.
PARTICIPATING INSTITUTIONS AND ADVISORS
Six University of Texas System universities have joined together to offer the online Master's Degree in Kinesiology. Currently, four of these institutions award the Master's degree. Graduate faculty from all six universities teach the online courses. The Kinesiology Academic Affairs Committee has developed a Handbook of Operating Procedures for the Kinesiology Online program.

GETTING STARTED
To participate in the Master's Degree in Kinesiology Online program, you must choose a home campus by applying to and being accepted by one of the four participating universities. Criteria, procedures and deadlines for admission vary slightly from one university to another, but are predominantly the same as the traditional residence programs.
