The majority of the programs offered through UTTC can be completed entirely online. Any exceptions will be noted on the program information pages.

Some programs lead to a degree, endorsement or certificate conferred by the participating institution, while others are a grouping of courses. Online academic courses follow a semester-based schedule.

All UT institutions are accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). In some programs, discipline-specific accreditation also exists and is listed. Click here to request a brochure.

What is it like to learn online through UTTC? See the UTTC Course Sampler and read student interviews for an idea.

Every semester, thousands of students choose UTTC as an option to expand their educational opportunities. Several students and graduates graciously agreed to be interviewed about their experiences. They discuss how they balanced a busy work schedule and their personal lives in the pursuit of earning a degree from a UT System institution.
